Roof Repairs

Discuss leaks, visible damage and the repair your property needs.

Talk about your roof

Start here

Hawk Eye Roofing handles roof repairs in Jacksonville and nearby First Coast communities. Call about leaks, missing roofing material or damaged roof details at your home or commercial property. The first step is identifying the likely source and extent of the problem, then defining the repair rather than assuming a full replacement is needed.

A clear next step

Let’s start with your roof.

Tell us what you’ve noticed. Ask about a free residential inspection with a detailed photo report.

What to tell us

Describe the concern in your own words. Photographs you already have can help explain it; you do not need to climb onto the roof to make an inquiry.

  • Indoor staining or an active leak
  • Visible damage or missing roofing material
  • Recent storms or falling debris
  • Previous repairs and whether the problem has returned

Is a repair enough?

A repair may be appropriate when a defect is limited and the surrounding roof can support a durable fix. Repeated leaks or deterioration across multiple areas may require a broader discussion. The assessment should explain what is visible, what remains uncertain and what the proposed work addresses.

A ceiling stain may not sit directly below the entry point. Tell us when the leak appears, whether it changes with wind-driven rain and whether the same location has been repaired before.

When storm damage is involved

Call to discuss current availability for roof repairs or temporary tarping. Temporary protection is a separate step from permanent repair. Your insurance agent or insurer can answer coverage questions.

Repairs at a commercial property

Include the building address, roof system if known, and whether the problem is affecting an occupied area. Tell us who coordinates access so we can discuss the requirements for your property.

Good to know

Before you decide.

Ask us a question
Does a roof leak always mean I need a new roof?

No. A leak is a reason to identify the source and assess the surrounding roof, not an automatic replacement diagnosis. Ask whether a focused repair is appropriate and whether the assessment found other concerns beyond that repair.

Do you handle repairs, or only full replacements?

Hawk Eye offers roof repairs as well as replacement. Tell us about the leak or damage and any previous repairs. The appropriate scope depends on what an assessment finds.

Can a repair match the rest of my roof?

Ask which materials are available and how they may look alongside the existing roof. Weathering and discontinued products can affect the appearance; discuss the proposed repair before choosing.

What information helps when I call about a leak?

Describe where it appears, when it occurs and whether that area has been repaired before. Mention recent storms or visible damage.

Will homeowners insurance cover a roof repair in Florida?

Your insurer determines coverage under your policy. Direct coverage questions to your insurance agent or insurer. Roof photographs can document conditions, but a roofing assessment does not determine what your policy will pay.
